Culling, Smit & Associates Pty Ltd was formed in 1995. Our staff each have over 25 years of quantity surveying experience. We are primarily involved with the analysis of purchase and construction costs and the preparation of depreciation schedules on all types of properties Australia wide for taxation purposes. These properties range from houses and residential strata units, to hotels and shopping centres, retirement villages as well as commercial and industrial buildings.

Chris Smit  is a qualified Quantity Surveyor and has been an associate member of the Australian Institute of Quantity Surveyors since 1983. He has worked as a senior Quantity Surveyor for Rider Hunt Brisbane Pty Ltd., the State Works Department and Napier & Blakeley Pty Ltd. During this time he acquired extensive experience in all aspects of the profession.

Paul Culling is a qualified Quantity Surveyor. Prior to the formation of Culling, Smit & Associates Pty Ltd, he was employed by Napier & Blakeley as a senior surveyor for 5 years, specialising in the field of property taxation. During this time he was in charge of the company’s computerisation, which included developing customised software for use in this field.
